Comments: Have had several studded snow tires, these are by far the quietest, best traction on snow and ice so far.

Comments: Also have on a Subaru forester. Have owned Firestone (studded) copper (studded) and blizzack (non studded) The two sets of Generals I've owned (third set, just put 4 on my new 2018 Legacy, traded the Impreza) nothing is near as quiet and the traction is by far the best on snow and ice. Will keep buying this tire!

Comments: Two seasons of these on my daughters Legacy and they're great tires. The car is very stable in unfavorable conditions. As a matter of fact, in an open parking lot you can't spin it in snow. That tells me how good it is in the snow. Vastly improved snow braking, handles slushy lane changes without disruption. Paired with Subaru AWD and this car is impressive in the snow. They are noisier than regular tires, and they are softer than regular all season tires but that's the tradeoff for extreme traction. Mileage has been good, they're showing very little wear after 10k+ miles over two winters. I strongly recommend a full change over set including mounted on separate rims to make swapping easier

Comments: Great tire put a set on the front then got lazy and left them on year round. Lasted 3+ years just started to get a little lose in the rain. I drive very aggressively (have a Corvette )and I'm amazed at the cornering grip these have. Putting on a set of four and I'll probably leave them on year round again. I had Blizzaks on before and they only lasted 2seasons I took those off in the summer.

Comments: I purchased these tires (studded) 2 years ago and have driven through 2 winters for a total of approx. 20,000 winter miles. My commute - each way - consists of 6 miles of curvy mountain terrain to the highway, followed by 40 miles on the highway and then about 3 miles through the city. I've driven in all winter conditions in snow totals of up to 4 inches (the FWD matrix doesn't have much more ground clearance). These tires have been great. They grip well in almost all conditions. The only issue has been my extremely steep dirt driveway with a sharp curve - there is no way to get a running start. The tires are great on the road. I previously had these (unstudded) tires on a Rav4 and the Rav drove like a tank through deep snow. The low score for noise is because of the studs on this set. The previous set without studs was ok for noise.
